Studying evolutionary biology in Montpellier is one of the best places in France, and the city is located in a region with incredible landscapes and a rich biodiversity. If you are interested in joining the lab, I suggest that you: (1) look at the publications to get a sense of the research that we do, (2) consult the ISEM website for details on the other teams, and (3) contact me for discussing a possible topic.

Undergraduate students: We have had several undergraduate students doing research  work in our lab. Several of these have resulted in scientific publications co-authored by undergraduates. Please contact me if you are interested in doing a Master internship.

Graduate students: I am interested to have new PhD students join the lab at the University of Montpellier. Admission to the PhD program is competitive and it helps to have good grades and significant research experience. I am happy to advise students interested in broad evolutionary and ecological questions using phylogenetics and/or genomics.

Postdoctoral researchers: Please contact me if you are interested in doing postdoctoral research in the lab.
